National Dinosaur Museum

The National Dinosaur Museum offers an exciting, interactive experience of the earth’s long and dynamic history. Learn how dinosaurs evolved, thrived, and interacted amid more than 150 skeletons and skull displays, life sized models, and realistic robotic dinosaurs. The exhibits trace life from its beginnings through to the extinction of the dinosaurs and the subsequent rise and fall of the Ice Age mega-fauna. Hands-on highlights include a genuine dinosaur bone, a 150kg meteorite, and a piece of fossilised dinosaur dung. The museum’s gift shop stocks all manner of prehistorically-inspired items from plush toys, to puzzles, clothing, books, and genuine fossils, and houses a huge display of crystals and gems for sale. Entry charges apply.
